Lousy experience. Very slow, buggy. And apparently un-uninstallable. It does not appear in the Control Panel (nor does IE6 for that matter).

Went back to and much prefer Firefox 2.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18157064.post-1162583398875575572006-11-03T11:49:00.000-08:002006-11-03T11:49:00.000-08:00Opera's zoom is much better.Opera's zoom is much better.Alex Chituhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02618542750965508582noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18157064.post-1162568391527297492006-11-03T07:39:00.000-08:002006-11-03T07:39:00.000-08:00I am a bit worried about the zoom feature in IE7. ...I am a bit worried about the zoom feature in IE7. If you go to the google.co.uk home page, and zoom in, the radio buttons for selecting search the web or UK pages only, do not move correctly and end up over the text. Also, there are lots of similar problems with CSS menus not working correctly on loads of sites.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18157064.post-1161420791752701562006-10-21T01:53:00.000-07:002006-10-21T01:53:00.000-07:00who can afford genuine windows? i need to switch t...who can afford genuine windows? i need to switch to linux now!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18157064.post-1161354473770491992006-10-20T07:27:00.000-07:002006-10-20T07:27:00.000-07:00Ionut, Microsoft merged the Refresh and Go, not th...Ionut, Microsoft merged the Refresh and Go, not the Stop and Refresh.Qhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11764246092746861955noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18157064.post-1161297723270749812006-10-19T15:42:00.000-07:002006-10-19T15:42:00.000-07:00I am going to have to disagree with you on how wel...I am going to have to disagree with you on how well IE7 handles feeds.
I much prefere Flock's feed reader, I know it is a Firefox fork, but I think it is the best feed reader bundled with a browser that I have used.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18157064.post-1161290223129008612006-10-19T13:37:00.000-07:002006-10-19T13:37:00.000-07:00http://www.silicon.fr/fr/silicon/news/2006/10/19/u...http://www.silicon.fr/fr/silicon/news/2006/10/19/une-premi-re-faille-ie7

not even released and already... microsofted... :DAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18157064.post-1161288519520824922006-10-19T13:08:00.000-07:002006-10-19T13:08:00.000-07:00One of the most interesting aspects of the IE vs. ...One of the most interesting aspects of the IE vs. Firefox battle is the development of the ecosystem of extensions or add-ons. It’s not just about bugs and features. Right now Firefox had a great advantage in this space but you can see Microsoft trying to catch up.

Microsoft has an interesting partner in Trailfire, a recommended download for IE7. See link:

http://www.ieaddons.com/SearchResults.aspx?keywords=trailfire

But this extension is also available for Firefox. See link:

https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/3524/

I think the ecosystem for Firefox and IE will decide who wins this battle. What do you think?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
