You still need to go and try "experimental" feature to torn on WebM.
They still force you to go to Flash when they want to show ads and they want to do it OFTEN.
They didnt followed they words and not dropped H264 at all. They didnt upgraded WebM to VP9 (it seems). How can they now blame Firefox?
Personally, i very unhappy with all this. I very like idea to get rid of Flash in vide watching process and i dont see much difference with H264 and WebM, its only youtube after all, not fresh anime BD-rip.
If they really wanted to make WebM to be domanant they shoul put more soul in.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18157064.post-44452237363650705232013-02-16T06:45:35.507-08:002013-02-16T06:45:35.507-08:00considering Google bought Motorola Mobility (a com...considering Google bought Motorola Mobility (a company with h.264 patents in the patent pool) it would appear that this makes sense :)danstlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00462096491288507601noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18157064.post-45809909647378534052013-02-13T17:49:22.589-08:002013-02-13T17:49:22.589-08:00My guest is that Google decided to wait until the ...My guest is that Google decided to wait until the next generation of codecs to arrive to fight this battle.
