The contacts are still buggy! I have noticed several times when I take my contacts from outlook to gmail (via .csv file), some information disappear! Especially addresses.
I'm wondering how Google wants to compete with Microsoft products when they cannot get this very basic thing right!

new is very very slow.. why we liked GMAIL ..was for its simplicity and fastness..but this version is complex and very very slow.. my pc got halted due to overheating when i was sending an attachment in the gmail ..the attchement was only 1.34 MB..connection of mine is already broadband..then too if this type of problem occurs then it is a problem with the complex software upgradation which they had in this newer version..

So i like the OLD VERSION ONLY..

it is still the bestest of best across any webmail in world.

My father has has a superfly laptop with Win XP service pack 2 and the latest version of Internet Explorer. He's noticed that with the "New Version" of gmail his email page is very uber slow and the lag time is enough to make me pull my hair out!!! (much less him!!) Anyone out there have any thoughts as to why the Newer version doesnt bother my mom or myself in our respective gmail accounts? I have the same OS and IE stuff but my pc is not a lap top and my mothers is a laptop on running with Vista. My PC is actually slower and older than my father's laptop and yet mine still outpaces him with the "new version"..
Anyone have any thoughts as to why the "new version" of gmail frakks with his chi???

I went for the new G mail and personally I think it's not ready as yet. I click on my G mail icon and up comes a blank page. I have to always click on the old style line to get my mail and use same. Other wise there are no addresses available and a few other things that I do not like. I'd love to know how to get back to the old style and stay ther. I do not like HTML style.

Hmm - could not figure out what had happened to my beloved gmail until I saw the "older version" link on top of my page. My gmail is totally fucked up - my extensions and filters do not work anymore and the scrollbars are gone in the new version - it loads so slowly and my shine isn't applied to the new version either. Google - please fix it!
