When I said it the default groups don't work with auto-complete for contacts I mean that if you type "Family" in the "To" field of your GMail message it doesn't pick up the family contacts like it does with your own groups.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12559526695147716517noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18157064.post-22784464792571406472008-10-30T14:04:00.000-07:002008-10-30T14:04:00.000-07:00GMail's default groups don't work with auto-comple...GMail's default groups don't work with auto-complete for contacts. This was very unfortunate because I used to have all my family and co-workers in my own contact groups named "Family" and "Co-workers". I figured I might as well move the contacts over to the defaults ones so that I only see one "Family" contact group instead of two. When I discovered that auto-complete didn't work I attempted to add my "Family" contact group back in and it wouldn't let me because it was a duplicate. Google, please fix auto-complete to work with default groups.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12559526695147716517noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18157064.post-42038895032873089502008-10-29T22:00:00.000-07:002008-10-29T22:00:00.000-07:00gmail = big brother = screw gmailgmail = big brother = screw gmailAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18157064.post-75067160198265179282008-10-29T19:50:00.000-07:002008-10-29T19:50:00.000-07:00The new default Groups for Google Contacts also ma...The new default Groups for Google Contacts also match nicely with the sharing feature that we can see in the video about Socialstream here.
Does that means we will get Socialstream soon?Gaël Giraudeauhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08548390636096757972noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18157064.post-8197462795540336282008-10-28T09:42:00.000-07:002008-10-28T09:42:00.000-07:00I already had groups of my own named "Friends" and...I already had groups of my own named "Friends" and "Family".
