I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW THAT IT WAS A "g" until I saw the flavicon that the artist created, this "g" is placed to far left and is missing the colors to the left of the "g", not what the artist intended and it just looks like blobs of color in my toolbar. I went searching for a way to change it back, anything is better than this and then I found the explanation. I agree with the majority, the original big "G" was the best, even the previous little "g" was better (no, it was not boring), if it ain't broke, don't fix it! I don't know why you would change your trademark to something that isn't even recognizable as a "g". I'm thinking of changing to the yahoo toolbar, they have never changed their red "Y!" and it's not boring. ALSO: I don't like that you forced 2 buttons in my toolbar, "options" & "sign in". I don't need them regularly and I could use the space for buttons that I do use often. Let me TURN THEM OFF! You're ruining the toolbar.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12463431749096059227noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18157064.post-74439708376234813462009-04-01T07:51:00.000-07:002009-04-01T07:51:00.000-07:00It stinks, I dont like it, it anoys me. I realize that Google's staff is enthralled with its new ico, and isn't about to change it back to its widely-known and universally accepted "G." So fortunately I had saved the "original" and I've replaced the "new" icon with that "original" on all of my saved Google links.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18157064.post-21009092051912562102009-02-11T23:44:00.000-08:002009-02-11T23:44:00.000-08:00I preferred the old one too: no hope of having it ...I preferred the old one too: no hope of having it restored or seeing the present one changed soon?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18157064.post-59112202003290312272009-02-06T07:42:00.000-08:002009-02-06T07:42:00.000-08:00I don't like the new one. And as a rule, never try to confuse your customers with a new logo, loyal customers tend to slip away. This gives me the appearance a company is under new management. I recreated the the older "G", and made a new icon shortcut on my desktop, linking to Google, so I don't have to see this 'playful' version.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18157064.post-42757587884260984322009-01-22T04:25:00.000-08:002009-01-22T04:25:00.000-08:00The big capotal G was the best.
