Just add label:starred as a second inbox, then choose a starring system that works for you.<br /><br />@Anonymous 2008-07-15:<br />If you're using keyboard shortcuts, then stars are simpler than labels; just press 'S' repeatedly. Also, a to-do list would be more complicated to set up with labels.
