They'll thus always seem more educated or informed about the things we care about. It's acting like an aggregated chat forum for our topics of interest.

Facebook - is almost everyone we know. It's a reflection of our actual social relationships: if the people on Facebook seem uneducated, it's because one's peer group is uneducated. It's a very powerful and persistant idea.Lemmy C.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alphaville_(film)noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18157064.post-68526228904358285742012-03-08T19:16:10.855-08:002012-03-08T19:16:10.855-08:00Agreed!Agreed!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18157064.post-64101414400990488772012-03-08T06:35:03.741-08:002012-03-08T06:35:03.741-08:00Oh... and +1Oh... and +1Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18157064.post-32709783090334606512012-03-08T06:34:43.013-08:002012-03-08T06:34:43.013-08:00Good on you. Whilst Facebook is about connecting with old friends and schoolmates, some you'd probably rather not hear from, Google+ is about meeting new interesting like minded people and it happens fairly naturally.

I've recently taken to scanning old photos, mainly for my own benefit as I had a scare in a flood recently.
