"254cm in feet and inches" produces "253.9998984 cm = 8.33333 foot" Not very helpful at all with rounding issues on the input and not showing inches on the output. Thankfully we know that 0.333333 is 4 inches. But add another cm on to that, and you get "8.36614" feet.
