I've found it especially good for sites like slashdot, where there's a high rate of new articles, I don't care about seeing all of them, there's a decent chance any given article will be interesting, and the headline may be all the information needed.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18157064.post-38111703825719467272007-08-05T17:15:00.000-07:002007-08-05T17:15:00.000-07:00Check out BlogRovrR as a complement to all these t...Check out BlogRovrR as a complement to all these techniques!

Also, I'll be doing a radio broadcast on tools for harnesing and managing the blogosphere's collective intelligence next Tuesday. It can alert you by email, IM, or SMS. I came across it after being beaten by others to good deals on air conditioners on craigslist.org (an excellent online classified site). Now, I'll find out that an air conditioner is available as soon as someone posts it.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13370925440530778963noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18157064.post-60308365447062321812007-08-05T03:44:00.000-07:002007-08-05T03:44:00.000-07:00i agree with my previous commenter, since with gma...i agree with my previous commenter, since with gmail, i have theoretically unlimited storage space, or as close as it gets, i am using rssfwd.com and r-mail.org to read those relevant blogs of mine.
plus, www.feedblitz.com

the only drawback with those services is, that none of them works for protected feeds, like the blog that i am following: livejournal.com.

they have a function to lock your posts, and allow only access to those, who you allow access by *friending* that certain other livejournal user.

so far, i have been searching for two years now, but have not find an online rss reader, that works for those feeds.

so i still need and use greatnews reader, to update those feeds, since that rssreader allows me to enter my log in, and then retrieve the protected feeds.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09930392138752423436noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18157064.post-33603621298580727552007-08-05T02:49:00.000-07:002007-08-05T02:49:00.000-07:00I use a rss to email forwarding service.
