I have the Logitech Revue. With the Revue I can surf the web and watch TV at the same time. It also has Pandora and Netflixs preloaded on it. I don't have to switch inputs to watch TV. It is really a great device. You can get one from DISH Network for $179 like I did and that is the price for everyone not just employees like me.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18157064.post-14652201380147324012010-07-01T02:39:53.988-07:002010-07-01T02:39:53.988-07:00I've had the set up you described for a while,...I've had the set up you described for a while, but for a regular consumer this has not happened yet.ejaz14357http://www.livetv.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18157064.post-55827064516441286892010-06-01T06:35:46.910-07:002010-06-01T06:35:46.910-07:00um, its called an hdmi cable connected to my lapto...um, its called an hdmi cable connected to my laptop, problem solved...Nickleushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05936484998179906590noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18157064.post-55650065154869384982010-05-25T17:44:17.938-07:002010-05-25T17:44:17.938-07:00how would it control a game console like the PS3, ...how would it control a game console like the PS3, Xbox or Wii? i understand it has IR blasters but all modern consoles use Bluetooth not IRAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18157064.post-39155888054439135182010-05-21T04:44:36.061-07:002010-05-21T04:44:36.061-07:00wasnt this tried before as web tv which nobody use...wasnt this tried before as web tv which nobody uses and you never hear about anymore (but it still exists as msn tv)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06639825483797162835noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18157064.post-7039744000509339572010-05-21T00:58:12.621-07:002010-05-21T00:58:12.621-07:00Looks interesting though a tv interface that relie...Looks interesting though a tv interface that relies that heavily on a keyboard and mouse is flawed. Also making videos not default to play in full screen is a bit of a strange ui choice. Think it will take some more time but could still be amazing with some more workJameshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04834959854479036807noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18157064.post-909005116767617142010-05-20T18:39:05.415-07:002010-05-20T18:39:05.415-07:00Um.. yea we can do this for free, but not as elega...Um.. yea we can do this for free, but not as elegantly and most importantly consumer friendly. I've had the set up you described for a while, but for a regular consumer this has not happened yet. Google TV could bring what we nerds knew for a couple of years to mainstream and make a shitload of money for Google.Yuriy Sheferhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07622674889876332113noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18157064.post-53137022243904841602010-05-20T15:46:56.853-07:002010-05-20T15:46:56.853-07:00I admit it looks clever, but cant we all do this n...I admit it looks clever, but cant we all do this now for free by hooking up a linux system (like Ubuntu) and installing XBMC, Canola, Moovida and all the other free media center programs? Im sure someone will come along and make a Google looking skin for one of those :)Shirtees.nethttp://www.shirtees.netnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18157064.post-54168624620798722782010-05-20T15:37:53.862-07:002010-05-20T15:37:53.862-07:00Wow this looks awesome! cant wait for it.Wow this looks awesome! cant wait for it.Design Manchesterhttp://www.design-manchester.co.uknoreply@blogger.com
