I wouldn't bother with the Acer. Google no longer sells the 550 either on the Play Store or at Best Buy. This is for a few different reasons, but regardless, we should be comparing chromebooks available currently with those not available any more. Stay current man :)

2. That being said, there are three main differences between the samsung and acer. Screen, HDD and battery life. You missed the beautiful glossy screen that the Acer has. The HDD and battery life you did mention.

3. Overall, you are missing the big picture here. Chromebooks aren't about specs. They're all about cloud computing. When we start talking about Ghz this and Celeron that, you completely overlook the amazing new way of computing that the Chromebooks bring us!

4. Personally, I think the Samsung is the better of the two being offered right now, but people will naturally move towards the one that they like based on the three differences mentioned above.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03608024046337479799noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18157064.post-25085351984648786612012-11-16T15:40:09.358-08:002012-11-16T15:40:09.358-08:00What about the Samsung series 5? I told him the price difference was significant and I would think about it. Best Buy does not even sell the 550, only the lighter version, so the guy was not really thinking about store profits.tomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17086203776037971045noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18157064.post-76633594845116410332012-11-16T08:36:33.575-08:002012-11-16T08:36:33.575-08:00Great post!
