Link to a YouTube Comment

If you happen to find a YouTube comment that's really interesting and you want to share it with other people, mouse over the comment, click on the "Share" button and copy the link.


Each YouTube comment has a permalink, but it's not easy to notice that the comment is displayed below the video in a special section titled "Linked Comment".


You could also use this feature to annotate a video before sharing it with your friends. Post a comment, copy the link and use it to highlight your comment.

    I have to say, I noticed this a while ago and thought it was a dumb idea. I think we'll now see more and more "First!" comments because now those idiots will be able to link to their "First!" comments.

    Ugh! Why fix the problems YouTube is having when you can release "features" like this?

    Believe me I didn't find any comment very interesting or special that worth's sharing in the most of the videos, specially on the first page.

    Most of the comments in Youtube don't carry much weight. However, thanks for sharing this tip with us it may come in handy one day.

    This doesn't work. Direct links to comments do not load. The comments only load after scrolling down past the video, but they are sorted from top to bottom and I have to manually expand each branch and click "show more" to find the thread I'm trying to reply to. So annoying--please fix!

    As of 2017, December -
    Find the time stamp (for example this-> "3 days ago") and hover over it and right click and go to "copy the link address". Paste it where you need it.
