Google Translate has a new button that shows word usage examples from the web. This works for both original text and the translated text, but it's no limited to single words: Google can also find examples for longer texts and even translate them for you.
"At Google we're always curious about new words from around the world, from all languages, and we think one of the best ways to understand and make sense of new words is by observing them in their natural habitat. Our latest feature does just that by providing you with example sentences taken from fresh new stories around the web," explains Google.
There's also a "select all" button that selects the entire translated text, so that it's easier to copy.
{ Thanks, Emanuele and Dean. }

ReplyDeleteGoogle Translate goes beyond a fantastic tool for any busy international Queen of the air. I love the feeling of having my own personal assistant, traveling with me using Lonely Planet’s apps. I travel frequently on business for Dish, and I would never leave without properly preparing myself with the right apps for my tablet. A couple of my favorites are Expensify, as my personal accountant, and Dish Remote Access as a consistent means of getting live TV on my iPad, which is especially important with the Olympics coming up. These new tablet apps are certainly smart, and helpful.
ReplyDeletethat is not always correct for the translation has also error. However, the application is very helpful though.

ReplyDeleteTo translate words and phrases, simply select your translation languages and start typing. The translation result should appear instantly as you type, without you having to click a single button. Note that you'll need Javascript enabled to take advantage of our instant translation feature. You can always click the Translate button to trigger a translation.When you translate a single word, you may see a simple dictionary at the bottom indicating parts of speech and possible word variations. For most language pairs, you'll also see a View Detailed Dictionary link. This will display a more detailed Google Dictionary page with example sentences, images, and more.
ReplyDeleteGoogle has started offering translation from Hindi to English. The results of translation aren't great but it's a start. Interesting considering that Google does not currently show Hindi as one of the languages in which we can restrict the search.
ReplyDeleteI've found this functionality very useful and This is very useful! Will help multi language users for sure!
ReplyDeleteYou’ve noticed the Detect language button appeared in the source text box. What a damn option... Use Firebug to remove it and disable the spelling correction features by editing the code to make all text in blue and using the Times Font Family.
ReplyDeleteI use Google Translate a lot. Its easy to use and has been providing the utmost accuracy in translating my native language (Indonesian) into English. Thanks!
