New Themes for Google Chrome

If the first batch of Chrome themes didn't include too many beautiful themes, you can now choose from a gallery of 95 themes designed by top artists like Jeff Koons, Yulia Brodskaya or Wes Craven. "We invited leading artists, architects, musicians, illustrators, filmmakers and fashion and interior designers from around the globe to create artwork for an unusual canvas: the modern web browser," explains Google. Apparently, the artists worked for free.



Chrome's themes are loaded almost instantly, so you don't need to restart the browser. Unfortunately, you can't pick a list of favorite themes or manage the themes you've already installed.

I've tried some of themes, but I went back to the default theme, which looks great and doesn't try too hard to be attractive. It's almost invisible.

    I guess these themes are a step up from the original themes by Google, but I don't like any -- at least to use as a theme in Chrome.

    I like the New Tab background in "Puk-Puk," the tab and New Tab background in "Koji NISHIDA," I like green, so "Yulia Brodskaya" is nice. Oscar De La Renta's tab theme is nice, but too red, imo.

    I think the only two themes I'd use are "Splendid" or "Jon Klassen." (I'm leaning toward the latter.)

    I really hope Google releases Chrome theme version of "Tea House" from iGoogle and Gmail. Love that theme!

    Actually, I take it back. I just tried "Splendid" and it's anything but, LOL!

    "Jon Klassen" it is. Simple and doesn't get in the way.

    When will custom themes have the transparent Aero effects the default theme has? Until this happens, I'm not changing themes.

    Wow..!! Awesome!! Great..!! These all artistic graphics makes the person more live to their work.. even these are looking much beautiful that anyone can be attracted..

    I don't like any of the themes. I think it is primarily how they all tend to use a single bold color for the address bar. The Colors need to be toned down. The point of Chrome is to give you a window to the web, and the new themes tend to draw attention to themselves instead.

    i agree that most of them are too bright, so i went with 'Marlies Dekkers' it is simple black and greyish, and the pattern is elegant without being too distracting.

    they need to make more themes for google chrome and what people should do is look at the themes for mozilla firefox and take ideas from them cos they arent exactly copyrighted now are they but its just an idea :).

    These themes are the most great looks than any browser can give but it lacks choices that we want. I don't mean these are just like shit, but we choices like who doesn't want celebs on they wall or they fav band. I don't know but I want. So????

    Some of them are absolute shit, but others are actually pretty good. I like Jon Klessan's theme a lot. However, I think it would be great if Google got Tea House as a theme. Also, Better Gmail as an extension!!!

    google chrome needs some more themes.. there are only a few choices to make .. i m tired seeing the few ones that r present. google really need to work on this .. this is the only disadvantage of chrome ..
