A Collection of YouTube Error Pages

For some reason, reading a message like "This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by Warner Music Group. Sorry about that." when trying to watch a YouTube video is no longer disconcerting. YouTube's new error pages are so endearing and quirky that you'll forget you can't watch certain videos. They remind me of Chrome's sad tab and Apple's sad Mac or sad iPod icon.

  1. There's no cute little face that could make the "not available in your region" forgettable...

  2. I received a funny error "something unexpected happened. please smash head against keyboard. when done, you may run around in circles, wave your hands, and scream."

  3. I've got to admit, it feels a lot less annoying to get one of these messages, compared to the old ones.

Counter point: Blue was chosen for the Blue Screen Of Death as it is a "Calming" colour, I now associate that particular shade of blue (+white text) with anger.

  4. You know, somehow I missed the "Sorry about that" note, but I have seen those error messages.

There's also one for private videos.

  5. Yes, no amount of unhappy faces or cute messages can stop me from being annoyed at not being able to watch a music video (A MUSIC VIDEO) because I come from Australia.

Full TV shows and Movies I can understand, but vevo is going to stop me watching Rihanna's latest clip? WHY?

  6. this is awesome not because of the new message, since it possible to see the description for the video (which is pretty much the reason why i was looking for most of the videos in the first place).
