Last night, Google deleted its blog by mistake. That allowed a so-called hacker, Trey Philips, to go to Blogspot and create a blog at googleblog.blogspot.com, Google Blog address. You can see how did Google Blog look for a couple of hours."We've determined the cause of tonight's outage. The blog was mistakenly deleted by us (d'oh!) which allowed the blog address to be temporarily claimed by another user. This was not a hack, and nobody guessed our password.
