More Data About Feeds in Google Reader

Google Reader shows more information about your subscriptions. Click on a feed from the navigation sidebar (or type g, then u, followed by the first letters of the title) and you should see the most recent posts from that feed. If you click on "show details", Google Reader has a lot of interesting data: the number of posts per week, the number of subscribers and a histogram of the feed's activity in the past 30 days.

The most interesting thing is that you can see how many posts you've read and when do you usually read the posts from a feed.

  1. I usually read my feeds grouped by a tag, so that new feature as very few added value for me.

  2. how about filters for google reader?

  3. I like the new additions to trends, keep it up! someone else has started I'd like to 2nd the call for filters, as used in GMail. The ability to add a coloured tag to a article would be very useful. I flick through a few hundred items each day and I'd like the ability to highlight some via a filter, i.e. contains a certain word, from a certain source etc.

  4. The quick view through the side navigation bar makes you to see the latest feeds. It also provides number of posts per week and other useful feed's activity which is too good.
