Each YouTube comment has a permalink, but it's not easy to notice that the comment is displayed below the video in a special section titled "Linked Comment".

You could also use this feature to annotate a video before sharing it with your friends. Post a comment, copy the link and use it to highlight your comment.
"If you happen to find a YouTube comment that's really interesting"
ReplyDeleteGo on, pull the other one.
I have to say, I noticed this a while ago and thought it was a dumb idea. I think we'll now see more and more "First!" comments because now those idiots will be able to link to their "First!" comments.
ReplyDeleteUgh! Why fix the problems YouTube is having when you can release "features" like this?
Believe me I didn't find any comment very interesting or special that worth's sharing in the most of the videos, specially on the first page.
ReplyDeleteMost of the comments in Youtube don't carry much weight. However, thanks for sharing this tip with us it may come in handy one day.
ReplyDeletecan i found out who is linking my comments?
ReplyDeleteHow do I know who/where my comment is linked?
