Okay, so it's now been a little over 11 hours since I initiated the switch over to the new Blogger. Admittedly, I didn't think that it was going to be a couple minutes to transfer over my more than 2,000 posts, but never did I think that I was going to be out of commission for, well, 11 hours (and counting).
The changes aren't spectacular, but it's nice to see that the old template works fine. To implement some of the new features or to make them visible, you need to add some code, though.
Any comments on how this thing work when your blog is not hosted by blogger?
ReplyDeleteI've switched to the new blogger. One thing I don't like is when I go to blogger.com (I'm already logged into my google account) and the auto redirect gives a messy screen display. Not slick.
ReplyDeleteI do like the ability to host at blogger but use my own domain name (using the DNS cname setting on your domain name). I've done this with anotherjunction.com. All worked fine, though I do seem to have lost my pagerank for the timebeing.
I'm glad that the switchover was fast for you and you didn't run into any snags.
ReplyDeletehello
ReplyDeletea friend of mine switched to the New Blogger and now nobody can leave a comment on his blog.
can anybody suspect why this happens?
thanx in advance
